Who sends the texts

Autrix Auto Group LLC, 467 Hershey Rd, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, sends the texts. The program is called "Autrix Auto Group text alerts". We text mobile phone numbers only.

How you agree to get texts

We text a number only after the person who uses it has agreed. There are two ways to agree.

• On this website. The schedule page has a "Text me" box once you sign in with a code we text to your mobile number. The box is never ticked for you. If you tick it, we keep your yes for that number, with the words below, the page you were on and the time. If you do not tick it, we keep no yes and send no text about your visits or paperwork.
• With our staff. When our staff book a visit for you, they can tick "Customer agrees to text messages about this visit" after you tell them you agree. The record shows that our staff entered it, who did, and when.

"Terms" goes to our text message terms and "Privacy" to our Privacy Policy.

Codes. When you ask for a one-time code by text, to confirm an online booking or to sign a repair order online, we text the code to the mobile number you typed for it, and only to that number.

Reminders about put-off work. This one is separate. Staff record your yes for it only when you ask for it. The website box does not turn it on.

What we text

• Codes you ask for: to confirm a booking you make online, or to sign a repair order online.
• A note that we got your request from a form on this site.
• Visit texts: your visit is requested, booked, confirmed, moved, cancelled or not confirmed, and a reminder before it. Most have a link to change, cancel or see the visit, or to book again.
• Repair order texts: a repair order or added work that needs your OK, a reminder that it is still waiting, papers to read and sign, your signed copy, parts that are late, your vehicle is ready for pickup, your invoice, and your receipt. Each has a link to see it.
• A reminder about work you put off, only if you asked our staff for it. It ends with "Reply STOP to opt out."

These are examples of the standard wording. Numbers, times and places change with each text, and the link is a full web address.

Message frequency varies with your visits and repair orders: about 5 texts per visit. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase.

If you reply to one of these texts with something other than STOP, START or HELP, we keep it on your record for our team. We do not answer those replies by text, so call us on (717) 330-7700 for anything urgent.

Stop or get help

• Reply STOP to any text. We stop every text to that number: visit texts, repair order texts, codes and the put-off work reminder. We write down that you opted out.
• Reply START after a STOP to turn texts about your visits and repair orders back on. The put-off work reminder stays off until you ask our staff for it again.

Your number and your yes

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text consent with anyone for their marketing. The text message service that delivers our texts uses your number only to deliver them. See our Privacy Policy and text message terms.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
